Privacy and POPIA
When you fill in a form on this site, your name and number go somewhere. Here is where, for how long, and what you can ask for, as the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) requires.
What is collected
Only what you type into a form: your name, your phone number, your suburb or area, the problem you chose, the best time to phone you, and any note you add. The page you sent it from is recorded so the plumber knows which problem you were reading about.
What it is used for
To phone you back, arrange the call-out and do the work you ask for. Your details are not sold, rented or added to a marketing list.
Who sees it
The form is delivered by email to the plumbing business that handles call-outs for this website. The email is sent through Resend, an email delivery service, and the website runs on Vercel. Neither uses your details for anything else.
How long it is kept
For as long as it is needed to arrange and invoice the work, and to keep the records the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted where the law allows. Send that request through the call-back form with the words "privacy request" in the note, and you will be phoned to confirm it is you.
